- What is the EAS?
The Emergency Alerting System
is a state wide paging network set up for
the Emergency Services - in particular the
CFA, SES and RAV.
- Who is going to use the EAS?
Initially the CFA, SES and RAV however
it is expected that the MAS and MFB will
also eventually use the system.
:: Frequencies & Repeater Sites
The frequency used for the system state wide is 148.9125 MHz.
Repeaters are located at 190 sites throughout the state, ensuring excellent coverage
anywhere within Victoria.
